We are seeking a agile and proactive skilled with prior experience of working closely with the music artist community and labels - ideally in artist management, distribution or a related domain. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of the music ecosystem and a passion for discovering and nurturing emerging talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify rising independent artists on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Spotify etc.
Sign and manage artists for distribution
Identify labels / catalogues for acquisition. Evaluate revenues and close contracts for acquisition
Negotiate contract with artist
Collaborate with internal teams and partners for releases
Monitor and analyze KPI‘s
Attend showcases and artist community events
Build relationships with managers/producers/ songwriters
