Key Responsibilities

/n
Perform day-to-day fund accounting activities for private equity, private credit, real estate, or other alternative investment funds.
/n
Work extensively with the Allvue Fund Accounting platform for transaction processing, accounting, reporting, and fund operations.
/n
Maintain fund books and records and ensure accurate accounting entries.
/n
Perform cash, investment, capital, and balance sheet reconciliations.
/n
Support periodic NAV calculation and review processes.
/n
Process and review capital calls, distributions, contributions, transfers, and other fund transactions.
/n
Record and reconcile investment activity, including purchases, sales, income, expenses, and valuations.
/n
Support quarterly/monthly close processes and preparation of fund financial statements.
/n
Assist with investor allocations, management fees, carried interest, and other fund-level calculations.
/n
Investigate and resolve accounting breaks, discrepancies, and reconciliation issues.
/n




Prepare and review financial and operational reports generated through Allvue.
/n
Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, tax teams, administrators, and clients as required.
/n
Ensure adherence to accounting policies, controls, and operational procedures.
/n
Identify prospects to improve fund accounting processes and automation within Allvue.
/n

Required Skills & Qualifications

/n

/n
3–8 years of experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, or alternative investment operations.
/n
Hands-on experience with Allvue is strongly preferred.
/n
Solid understanding of fund accounting concepts and investment structures.
/n
Experience with private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, or other alternative investments.
/n
Valuable knowledge of NAV calculation, capital activity, investment accounting, and reconciliations.
/n
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements.
