Job Requirements*

4+ Years of experience using Fle.xera SAM SME

n

n
Robust experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
n
Hands-on expertise in Flexera tools (FNMS, FNM SAP & FNM EA).
n
Deep understanding of Used-based, Device-based & Concurrent License Management.
n
Knowledge of CMDB, ADDM (BMC Discovery), JamF, Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud).
n
Experience with software usage metering, license re-harvesting, and optimization.
n
Understanding of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
n
Experience managing and interpreting software contracts and compliance frameworks.
n
Robust understanding of software lifecycle, procurement-to-retirement, and risk management.
n
Hands-on with SAM tools like Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow Software, etc.
n

Key Responsibilities*

n

Lead end-to-end Software Asset Management initiatives across the enterprise.

n

Administer and optimize Flexera FNMS, FNM SAP, and FNM EA for software discovery, tracking, normalization, and reporting.

n

Manage and optimize Flexera SAM platforms for license tracking and compliance.

n

Handle software licensing, audits, renewals, and vendor negotiations.

n

Support contract management, budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking.

n

Execute usage metering and license re-harvesting to reduce waste.

n

Manage vendor engagement for Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce.

n

Ensure software lifecycle compliance from procurement to retirement.

n

Maintain accurate data from CMDB, Discovery, JamF, Citrix, and cloud sources.

n

Produce reports using Cognos and SAM tool dashboards.
