Required Qualifications
8+ years of skilled Android application development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.
Deep understanding of Android SDK and Android application lifecycle.
Experience with Jetpack components including ViewModel, StateFlow/LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.
Robust understanding of contemporary Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON services, and HTTP-based applications.
Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.
Knowledge of Android UI/UX principles and responsive design practices.
Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
Strong Git and source-control experience.
Experience creating unit and UI tests using frameworks such as JUnit, MockK, Mockito, Espresso, or similar tools.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.




Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Firebase and Google Play Services.
Experience implementing mobile security and secure coding practices.
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, biometric authentication, and secure data storage.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with application performance monitoring and crash analytics.
Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
Experience supporting large-scale customer-facing mobile applications.
Familiarity with modular Android architectures.
Experience modernizing legacy Android applications to Kotlin and Jetpack-based solutions.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
