Behavior Therapist

Qualification: M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology

Preferred: ABAT Certification, PDCP, PGDRP or M.Phil. in Rehabilitation

Experience: 3+ years of experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays and behavioral needs

RCI Registration: Preferred

Key Responsibilities
Conduct behavioral and developmental assessments and identify areas requiring intervention.
Provide individualized 1:1 behavior therapy using evidence-based behavioral and ABA principles.
Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings.
Work on communication, social skills, attention, emotional regulation, adaptive skills and reduction of challenging behaviors.
Collect therapy data,



monitor progress and modify intervention goals based on outcomes.
Conduct parent consultations and provide strategies for carryover of skills at home.
Guide Facilitators in implementing behavioral strategies within the classroom.
Collaborate with Clinical Assessors, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Facilitators as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain assessment reports, therapy notes, progress records and other clinical documentation.
Participate in case reviews, goal-setting and multidisciplinary discussions.
