Role Description The Electrical Engineer at Solage will work on-site in Kannur in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar power systems. Daily responsibilities include developing electrical layouts for on-grid solar installations, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes. The role involves collaborating with project managers and installation teams to oversee power distribution, troubleshoot electrical issues, and optimize system performance.

The Electrical

Engineer will also review technical documentation, conduct site assessments,



and support quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the role may include providing technical input for proposals and assisting with customer consultations on system capabilities and performance.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of core electrical principles.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating system layouts and specifications for solar installations.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution and Power Systems, with experience in grid-connected or renewable energy projects.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of solar energy systems, on-grid installation standards, and applicable electrical codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in office.
Prior experience in solar or power engineering projects in a field or in office environment is an advantage.
