Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the overall academic, administrative and operational functioning of the school.
Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, policies, examination requirements and affiliation norms.
Drive academic excellence, monitor student performance and implement measures for continuous improvement.
Lead, mentor and evaluate teachers and staff; facilitate career development.
Maintain high standards of discipline, child safety, student welfare and safeguarding.
Oversee admissions, examinations, timetable, co-curricular activities and school events.
Ensure compliance with statutory, CBSE and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain effective communication and relationships with students, parents, teachers, management and external authorities.
Prepare and monitor academic and administrative plans, budgets and resource requirements.

Educational Qualifications
Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
B.Ed.



or equivalent teacher-education qualification from a recognised institution.
Qualification and eligibility should be as prescribed by the applicable CBSE/education department norms.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, preferably in a recognised Senior Secondary/CBSE school.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative/supervisory position, such as Vice-Principal, Headmistress/Headmaster, Academic Coordinator or equivalent.
Prior experience as a Principal of a Senior Secondary/CBSE-affiliated school is a must.
Solid knowledge of CBSE rules, affiliation requirements, NEP, school administration and academic leadership is desirable.
