Position: Consultant Nephrologist

Job Summary The Consultant Nephrologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with kidney-related diseases and disorders. The doctor will provide comprehensive nephrology care, including management of acute and chronic kidney conditions, dialysis-related care, and coordination with other specialties.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate patients with kidney-related conditions.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases.
Manage patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney failure.
Provide appropriate treatment and follow-up for hypertension and kidney-related complications.
Evaluate patients requiring dialysis and coordinate dialysis management.
Manage hemodialysis patients and monitor dialysis-related complications.
Assess patients for renal replacement therapy and transplantation referral when required.
Review laboratory reports, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
Provide consultation for inpatients, ICU patients, and emergency cases.
Coordinate with Cardiologists, Physicians, Surgeons, Intensivists, and other specialists.




Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient condition.
Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, dialysis, diet, and follow-up.
Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment notes, and discharge summaries.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, training, and quality-improvement activities.
Provide emergency nephrology consultation when required.

Qualification
MD/DNB in Nephrology or equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid medical registration.
Relevant experience in nephrology and dialysis patient management preferred.

Pay: ₹1,832,481.59 - ₹3,278,056.07 per year
