Position: Mechanical CAD Engineer

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Role Summary:

Responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for automotive systems using CAD tools, supporting prototype development, manufacturing, testing, and product improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and vehicle components
Create 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools (Creo preferred)
Prepare BOMs and engineering documentation
Perform basic engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and packaging studies
Apply GD&T;, DFM, DFA, and engineering design practices
Select materials, fasteners, and mechanical components
Support prototype development, testing,



troubleshooting, and design validation
Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, electrical, procurement teams, and suppliers
Maintain engineering changes and revision-controlled drawings
