Indian Silk House Agencies is a heritage saree and ethnic-wear retail brand (est. 1971) with 70+ stores across India. We're building our merchandising team to lead Recent Product Development, collection curation, and in-store presentation across our network — with a solid focus on sarees and ethnic wear.

What you'll own:
Current Product Development (NPD) — working with weaving clusters, designer tie-ups, and vendors to build fresh collections season on season
Collection and range planning across price points and store formats
Product content and storytelling that helps stores sell, not just stock
Visual merchandising — display standards, in-store execution across formats




Working with regional/store teams so merchandising plans land correctly on the floor

What we're looking for:
Background in Fashion/Textile Design or Fashion Merchandising; a design-institute education (NIFT or equivalent) is a robust plus
Experience with saree, ethnic wear, or handloom textiles is preferred
An eye for visual merchandising and retail presentation
0–5 years of experience preferred; candidates with 7+ years of deep saree/ethnic-wear category expertise also considered for senior roles
Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata
