A PRT EVS Teacher is responsible for teaching Environmental Studies to students of Classes I–V and helping them understand nature, society, health, and their surroundings through activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver EVS lessons according to the school curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and teaching aids.
Conduct interactive activities, experiments, nature walks, and field visits.
Assess student learning through classwork, homework, projects, and tests.
Maintain student records, report cards, and progress reports.
Create a positive, protected, and inclusive classroom workplace.
Encourage environmental awareness, civic responsibility, and valuable habits.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
Participate in school events, assemblies, meetings, and training programs.





Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Sc.)
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred or mandatory in most schools.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to use digital teaching tools.
