Role Description This is a full-time, in office Optical Network Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining optical network infrastructure to support broadband and telephone services. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and optimizing network equipment, monitoring performance, and resolving network issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan network expansions, integrate current technologies, and support service delivery and upgrades.





Responsibilities also include ensuring network security, documenting configurations and changes, and adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for optical and IP-based infrastructures.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network faults, performance issues, and service disruptions.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to implement and maintain secure network architectures and protect data integrity.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with optical transmission technologies (DWDM, SDH, MPLS), routers, and switches is preferred.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools, documentation practices, and industry standards.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
