Job Purpose To foster culture of safety and quality along with high performance across logistics division, aligning daily operations with budgeted financial goals and customer satisfaction metrics (SLA’s).

Key Responsibilities -

Transport Operations: Lead and manage end-to-end trailer transportation operations across multiple customer locations.

Fleet Utilization & Operational Efficiency: Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets in line with business plans.

Service Delivery & On-time Performance: Maximise trailer utilisation, fleet productivity, and operational efficiency.

Daily Dispatch Adherence: Ensure 100% on-time vehicle placement, dispatches, transit performance, and proof of delivery.

Operational Performance: Manage and drive daily operations, team productivity as per budgets, Review SOPs.

Quality Assurance: Ensure Zero Handling Damages at all sites, meet or exceed established operational quality standards.

Team Development: Lead, mentor and develop the 450+ staff workforce to build a high-performing & kaizen culture .





Customer Relations & KPI Compliance- Customers Connect: Maintain proactive communication with customers to align business requirements.

Delivery: Secure 100% on-time, damage-free dispatches and destination deliveries.

SLA Maintenance: Keep meticulous records and lead initiatives to meet client KPIs (on-time dispatches, deliveries, and damage control).

Budgets & Cost Control -

Budgets: Lead & Coordinate with finance team & site managers for preparing business wise budget and monitor it.

Operational Cost Acumen: Deep understanding of logistics cost drivers (fuel costs, trailer maintenance costs and labour laws regarding wages/overtime).

Data Literacy: Ability to prepare & understand basic Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, interpret variance reports, and translate raw data into cost-saving field actions.

Compliance, Agreements & MIS reports - Monitor 100 % compliance at each site, ensure timely agreement renewals & Conduct Weekly Reviews with team and Prepare Monthly MIS reports & present to management in Power Points.
