Job Description

The purpose of this position is to achieve project goals by timely execution of project activities according to standard project management process there by act as enabler to secure recent projects leading to business enhancement with customer.

1.Preparation & presentation of the acquisition case as per standard project management process to the concerned approving authority, prepare & submit customer quotation based on approved bottom lines, negotiate and sign off contract inline to bottom lines/ conditions approved by management.
Review and manage stake holders (Ex :A-Panel, B Panel) during acquisition phase and escalate project / customer specific topics to leadership team to seek appropriate interventions.
Follow up/ tracking of prices due to various factors (Forex, RMI, Volumes, ECI, ECN, Energy etc)




Execute the system/ component project activities after project acquisition as per standard project management process & ensure smooth handover to logistics team for managing series supplies - Systematic updating of project status via Open Point List and Project Status presentation at team/ management level (A, B Panel) review meetings
Timely escalate project / customer specific topics to leadership team to seek appropriate interventions.
Implement R&D; cost (Development efforts) and Special Earnings for projects/sub projects and for target business plans (TBP)/ Current Forecast (CF) and ensure budget utilization within targets by periodic monitoring.
Monitor the product cost, price, volume, project budget.
Contribute towards customer field issues and internal QMM audits.
Initiate and communicate Engineering Change to customer (via ECM tool) for product specific changes as per customer involvement matrix.
Obtain competencies in the functional area based on present and future trends as per the business requirements.
