We are a rapid-growing, engineering-driven team building globally competitive motion technology with real-world industrial impact.ROLE SUMMARYThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Motor Design Engineer. In this role, you will lead the design, simulation, electromagnetic modeling, and thermal analysis of advanced electromagnetic systems. You will work extensively on rotary motors, linear motors, and novel electromagnetic topologies to deliver high-density, energy-efficient motion solutions. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform 2D and 3D electromagnetic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using tools.- Develop analytical models, parameter sizing scripts, and post-processing tools- Translate application requirements into motor sizing constraints, optimizing parameters like torque/force density, cogging, ripple, efficiency, and magnetic saturation.- Perform thermal analyses (lumped-parameter network and FEA) to evaluate temperature distribution under continuous and transient load cycles.- Collaborate daily with mechanical and motor control firmware engineers to ensure seamless structural, thermal, and drive integration.- Validate experimental performance by setting up motor testing rigs,



executing efficiency mapping, and correlating physical test data with simulation models. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and optimize complex electromagnetic structures, including BLDC, PMSM, voice coils, linear motors, and custom topologies.- Evaluate magnetic material selection, winding patterns (concentrated vs. distributed), slot/pole combinations, and insulation classes.- Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and reliability assessments for electromagnetic systems.- Define design verification test protocols and participate in prototype assembly, benchmarking, and troubleshooting. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering EXPERIENCE- Freshers or 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electromagnetic system design and motor analysis.- Expertise in electromagnetic simulation softwares- Solid understanding of electrical machine theory, electromagnetic fields, thermal management, and mechanical sizing constraints.- Practical experience in prototype testing, data acquisition, and back-EMF, inductance, and torque/force measurement.- Strong problem-solving ability and an ownership mindset in a fast-paced hardware startup environment.COMPENSATIONThe offered compensation for this role is up to ₹8 LPA, subject to candidate experience, technical expertise, and performance during the evaluation process.
