Your Role

- Manage and administer cloud-hosted database environments.
- Perform database installation configuration maintenance and health monitoring.
- Execute backup recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor and optimize database performance availability and capacity.
- Plan and implement database patching upgrades and version migrations.
- Investigate and resolve database-related incidents alerts and service interruptions.
- Support security compliance activities including user access management and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with CloudOps SysOps Application Support and Engineering teams on database-related initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation SOPs and automation scripts.

Your Profile

- The role focuses on ensuring high availability performance security and reliability of database environments running on managed cloud services.




- The individual will perform database administration activities including monitoring backup and recovery performance optimization patch management upgrades and incident resolution while collaborating with cloud infrastructure application and support teams to deliver resilient database services.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in relational database technologies and cloud-native database services with hands-on experience in troubleshooting production issues implementing performance improvements and supporting business-critical applications in a 24x7 operational environment when required.
