Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance will support the finance function by overseeing daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments. This full-time, on-site role in Assam, India will assist in preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The position will involve monitoring costs, reviewing financial data related to cruise operations, coordinating with internal departments, and assisting with audits and statutory filings. The Assistant Manager Finance will also prepare management reports, analyze financial performance,



and help identify process improvements to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Experience with accounting and Tally software, MS Excel, and related financial tools.
- Understanding of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance.
- Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in office in Assam, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or service-oriented industries is beneficial.
