Role Description The Senior Sous Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, leading the daily kitchen operations. This role includes overseeing food preparation and cooking, particularly Neapolitan-style pizzas, handmade pasta, breads, and desserts, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards. The Senior Sous Chef will supervise and train kitchen team members, manage section assignments, and support stock control, ordering, and inventory rotation. The role also involves maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards,



coordinating with front-of-house teams during service, and contributing to menu development and seasonal specials.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Italian and Neapolitan cuisine, including pizza, pasta, and bakery production.
- Experience in supervising kitchen teams, delegating tasks, and supporting staff development.
- Proficiency in kitchen operations, including food preparation workflows, stock management, and cost awareness.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented workplace with attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant setting.
- Culinary education or formal training is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach.
