Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Marketplace Associate to support and manage day-to-day activities across multiple e-commerce platforms such as Temu, Amazon DE, Otto, Kaufland, Check24, Tik Tok Shop, Alibaba and others. The Marketplace Associate (Remote, Consultant, India) is a contract role focused on supporting marketplace operations and performance across international e-commerce platforms. In this role, the associate will assist with listing management, catalogue updates, pricing checks, and inventory coordination to ensure accurate and optimised product visibility. They will monitor marketplace metrics, prepare regular performance reports, and flag issues such as listing errors, policy violations, or operational bottlenecks to the consulting team and clients. The associate will collaborate remotely with internal stakeholders and client teams to execute marketplace strategies, support promotional activities, and contribute to process improvements. This is a fully remote position, requiring reliable communication, structured work habits, and the ability to manage tasks independently within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Management & Listing Optimisation





- Ensure listings meet marketplace compliance and policy guidelines.
- Create, update, and optimise product listings (content, images, pricing).
- Identify and resolve listing errors, suppressions, and approvals.

Operational Support & Coordination

- Track marketplace performance metrics and highlight recurring issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding orders, logistics, returns, and replacements.

Customer Support (Secondary Scope)

- Respond to customer messages through marketplace dashboards professionally and within SLA timelines.
- Use translation tools when necessary to support communication in German.

Monitoring & Reporting

- Assist with competitive research, price tracking, and product performance analysis.
- Maintain organised documentation and reporting for workflow transparency and process improvement.

Requirements

✔ Previous experience managing marketplace operations (German marketplaces preferred).

✔ Understanding of marketplace policies, compliance rules, and content quality standards

✔ Strong communication skills in English; German language ability is a plus.

✔ Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with marketplace dashboards.

✔ Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet platform-specific deadlines.

✔ Solid attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
