Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Word Press Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will develop and maintain Word Press websites, customize themes and plugins, implement new website features, and ensure websites remain secure, responsive, and optimized.

You will collaborate with designers, content teams, marketing specialists, and other developers to transform requirements and designs into functional websites. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with Word Press development, PHP, databases, frontend technologies, APIs, SEO, performance optimization, and modern web development tools while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining Word Press websites
- Customizing Word Press themes and templates based on design requirements
- Developing and customizing Word Press plugins
- Working with PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Creating responsive and mobile-friendly website interfaces
- Integrating third-party APIs and external services
- Working with Word Press REST APIs and custom integrations
- Managing Word Press databases and content structures
- Troubleshooting and resolving website errors and technical issues
- Optimizing websites for speed, performance, and responsiveness
- Implementing basic website security and maintenance practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in Word Press development or a relevant internship/project
- Basic understanding of Word Press CMS
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
- Basic knowledge of Java Script
- Familiarity with PHP and MySQL
- Understanding of Word Press themes, plugins, and customization
- Familiarity with Word Press REST API is a plus
- Basic understanding of responsive web design
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Basic understanding of website performance and SEO concepts
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor or similar tools is beneficial
- Knowledge of Woo Commerce is a plus
