REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

/n

/n

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Vertex O Series or Vertex Cloud experience — configuration and administration. Vertex - end to end installation / configuration / Setting rules / instance management

/n

- Strong understanding of U.S. sales & use tax rule structures

/n

- Experience with Boolean logic and conditional tax rule configuration in a tax engine

/n

- Instance setup and setting management expertise

/n

- Familiarity with integrating Vertex into large-scale e-commerce or ERP environments

/n

- Understanding of U.S. marketplace facilitator legislation and its impact on tax engine configuration

/n

- Ability to work within a shared/part-time consulting model, coordinating across team members

/n

/n

NICE TO HAVE

/n

/n

- Vertex O Series Associate Implementer certification or equivalent

/n

- Prior experience supporting a large marketplace platform

/n

- Avalara Ava Tax experience as a complementary platform

/n

- Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP integrations with Vertex

/n
