Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Pune City. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
Responsibilities include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and ensuring accurate data entry into Tally accounting systems. The role also involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, assisting with documentation for audits,



and following internal controls and company policies.
The Junior Accountant will collaborate with senior team members, respond to internal queries, and help maintain organized financial records and files.
Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping and basic financial statements.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage routine financial tasks consistently.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a structured work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; internship or up to 2 years of relevant experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance in India is beneficial.
