Position Summary ( Expense & Revenue Lease)We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting Consultant to implement, configure, and support the Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting module. This role focuses exclusively on lease accounting compliance with ASC 842, IFRS 16 standards, ensuring accurate recognition of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesLease Accounting ConfigurationImplement and configure Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting module (Revenue Lease)Set up lease classification rules to distinguish operating and finance leasesConfigure lease payment schedules including fixed, variable, and index-based paymentsDefine incremental borrowing rates and discount rate determinationSet up lease terms including renewal options, termination clauses, and purchase optionsHaving positive hands-on experience on Accounts Receivables configuration (transaction type, source & Auto accounting rules).Right-of-Use (ROU) Asset ManagementCalculate and record ROU assets at lease commencementConfigure subsequent measurement and depreciation methodsHandle impairment testing and adjustmentsManage ROU asset integration with Fixed Assets module Lease Liability ManagementCalculate lease liabilities using present value of lease paymentsConfigure effective interest method for liability amortisationProcess lease liability remeasurements and modificationsHandle lease reassessments triggered by significant events Lease Lifecycle Processing
Manage lease creation, activation,
and termination workflowsProcess lease modifications including scope changes and term adjustmentsHandle early terminations and lease extensionsConfigure partial lease terminations and asset disposalsCompliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87 standardsGenerate disclosure reports for financial statement requirementsProduce lease maturity analysis and rollforward schedulesSupport period-end close activities and reconciliationsMaintain audit trails and documentation for lease transactionsTechnical & IntegrationPerform lease data migration from legacy systems or spreadsheetsDevelop integrations with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and General LedgerConfigure sub-ledger accounting (SLA) rules for lease journal entriesCreate reports using OTBI and BI PublisherSet up approval workflows and security roles
Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree, MBA, MCA & BEExperience4–7 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud FinancialsHands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting module (Expense & Revenue lease)Experience with full implementation lifecycleBackground in lease administration or lease accounting functions
Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting configurationProficiency in OTBI and BI Publisher reportingExperience with FBDI for lease data migrationUnderstanding of SLA rules and GL integrationFamiliarity with SQL and data validation techniques
