Role & responsibilities

• Design stable, reliable and effective database programs to ensure that data processingproduction systems meet user needs• PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly developed and existing applications• Provide data analysis and validation• Leverage Oracle 10g/11g features to their fullest on a large-scale system.• Identification of performance issues on production and testing systems.• Interact with internal and external clients to understand requirements, explain issues andprioritize work.• Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle and demonstrate abilities tolearn both the business processes as well as new and existing pl/sql technologies• Lead and mentor junior developers,



providing technical guidance and code reviews• Collaborate with architects and senior management to design scalable database solutions• Drive best practices in database development, performance optimization, and datagovernanceRequirements• Basic knowledge of Oracle database architecture• Advanced database development experience (Oracle SQL/PLSQL)• Knowledge of software development• Solid SQL development, SQL analytics and tuning skills• Excellent analytical and organizational skills• An ability to understand front-end users' requirements and a problem-solving attitude• Strong communications skills (both verbal & written)Location – Smartcity, KochiExperience – 3+ years
