Hiring for fund accountant

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting activities with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
- Process and review accounting entries.
- Prepare supporting workings for accounting entries. Manage, review, and reconcile accounting entries. Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare, review and reconcile various tax compliances (TDS, GST, advance tax etc.)
- Ownership of vendor onboarding and control over vendor payment cycles.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes (like MIS and cashflow statement etc.)
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with auditors, custodians, fund administrators, and internal stakeholders as required.

Required Skills





- Solid understanding of accounting concepts.
- Basic understanding of Fund Accounting and Investment Accounting principles.
- Experience in journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fund operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

- Exposure to Private Equity Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
- Experience in audit coordination and regulatory reporting.
