Role & responsibilities

- Strong experience in Flexible and Rigid Pavement Design.
- Hands-on experience in pavement analysis, design, evaluation, and rehabilitation.
- Good knowledge of relevant IRC/MoRTH standards and specifications.
- Experience in preparation/review of pavement design reports and technical documentation.
- Exposure to highway/road infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Robust analytical and technical skills with the ability to work independently

Preferred candidate profile

- Carry out Flexible and Rigid Pavement Design for highway and road infrastructure projects.
- Undertake pavement thickness design based on traffic loading, subgrade characteristics, material properties, and design parameters.
- Conduct pavement evaluation and assessment using available field investigation and pavement condition data.
- Review and interpret FWD, Benkelman Beam, roughness and other pavement investigation data, wherever applicable.




- Prepare and review Pavement Design Reports, Technical Reports, Design Calculations and Drawings.
- Develop pavement rehabilitation and strengthening proposals for existing road sections.
- Carry out overlay design and pavement rehabilitation design as per applicable standards.
- Ensure pavement designs comply with relevant IRC, MoRTH and other applicable standards/specifications.
- Coordinate with Highway Design, Geotechnical, Materials and Survey teams for pavement-related inputs.
- Review technical inputs, drawings and reports prepared by junior engineers/design team members.
- Provide technical support during project execution and address pavement-related design/site issues.
- Assist in preparation of technical proposals, DPRs and feasibility studies related to pavement and highway projects.
