Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Integration Engineer with 5 to 7 years of core hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, and PL/SQL. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and optimize end-to-end Data Warehousing and ETL solution pipelines. You will collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to transform complex data requirements into robust, scalable data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- ETL Architecture & Development: Design, build, test, and deploy complex ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter (v10.x or higher).
- Database Programming: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views to handle heavy batch processing.
- Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across Informatica workflows (source/target/mapping queries) and database environments (indexing, query execution plans, partitioning).
- Data Warehousing & Modeling: Utilize solid knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schemas, SCD Type 1 & Type 2, Delta Loading).
- Production Support & Maintenance: Support deployment activities,



monitor automated job schedules (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, Airflow), and resolve production issues under tight timelines.
- Documentation & Standards: Create accurate technical design documents (TDD), data mapping documentation, and follow best practices for code reviews, version control, and data governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Core Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in data integration, ETL pipeline development, and data warehousing.
- ETL Expertise: Deep proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter development, session tuning, error handling, parameter files, and operational management.
- Database Skills: Advanced mastery of relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) with expert-level proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Unix/Linux Scripting: Shell scripting skills (Bash/Korn) for automation, file handling, and job scheduling integrations.
- Problem Solving: Robust analytical skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex data anomalies and system performance issues.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
