Sungov Engineering Private Limited, a leading manufacturer of process equipment serving 35+ countries in oil & gas, petrochemical, and power sectors, is looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor/Engineer to manage both subcontract and in-house machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, schedule, and monitor machining jobs across in-house shop floor and subcontract vendors
- Coordinate with subcontract machine shops on job allocation, quality, and delivery timelines
- Review drawings/specs and ensure machining conformance to tolerances and material standards
- Track machine utilization, capacity, and job progress; escalate delays proactively
- Liaise with Order Management, QC, and Procurement for smooth job flow
- Maintain machining documentation, job cards, and inspection records as applicable

Requirements:

- Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
- 5-10 years in a machine shop setting, with exposure to both subcontract vendor management and in-house CNC/conventional machining
- Working knowledge of GD&T;, machining processes (turning, milling, boring, drilling)
- Experience in heavy engineering/process equipment industry preferred
- Strong coordination and vendor management skills
