Role & responsibilities

We're hiring an HR Manager to build and run people processes across both the catering operation and the restaurant outlet from hiring and onboarding to attendance, compliance, and staff welfare.

This role needs someone who understands hospitality's unique rhythms: seasonal event spikes, kitchen brigade structures, and on-call event staffing.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Staffing

• Manage end-to-end hiring for kitchen, service, and event staff — including permanent and on-call/event-day manpower

• Build and maintain a reliable pool of banquet/event staff for peak season surges

• Coordinate onboarding, induction, and documentation for new hires HR Operations & Compliance

• Manage attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labour laws)

• Maintain employee records and HR documentation across both outlets

• Handle offer letters, contracts, and exit formalities Employee Relations & Culture

• Address staff grievances and workplace issues; support kitchen/service leads on team discipline and conduct matters





• Drive staff engagement, retention, and welfare initiatives suited to hospitality work environments

• Support performance review processes and identify training needs • Policy & Process

• Develop and enforce HR policies suited to a hospitality/catering business (shift structures, event-day norms, code of conduct)

• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Sales & Ops Head on manpower planning for upcoming events and seasons What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of HR experience, ideally within hotels, catering, restaurants, or hospitality

• Working knowledge of statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labour laws) relevant to hospitality staffing

• Experience managing both permanent staff and adaptable/event-based manpower pools

• Comfortable with hands-on, on-ground HR — not just a desk-bound policy role

• Strong interpersonal skills to manage kitchen and service staff dynamics • Based in or willing to relocate to Varanasi
