- Provide accounting and financial reporting support services across multiple client engagements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger activities, and periodic reporting.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of deliverables.
- Prepare client reports and financial statements, including more complex engagements involving multiple entities and nonprofit-specific reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to support client deliverables and maintain high-quality service standards.
- Proactively communicate work progress, identify issues, and seek clarification when needed to ensure efficient engagement execution.
- Respond to accounting and software-related inquiries while escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through proactive communication and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities where clients may benefit from additional technologies, process improvements, or service enhancements.
- Follow established accounting processes and procedures while contributing ideas for operational improvements and efficiencies.
- Maintain and expand knowledge of accounting principles, nonprofit accounting practices, and applicable technology platforms.
- Stay current with updates to accounting systems and support ongoing technology adoption and process improvements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree required.
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, CaseWare, Ramp, or similar ERP/accounting platforms preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll principles.
- Robust organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
