Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Rust Developer with 5+ years of production software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in Rust.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Rust programming concepts and experience building reliable, high-performance, and production-grade software. The candidate should also be comfortable working with large open-source codebases and have strong knowledge of Python, Git, testing, and software quality practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review production-grade software features using Rust based on defined technical specifications.
- Write reliable, maintainable, and high-performance Rust code with a strong understanding of ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, concurrency, and error handling.
- Use Cargo and Rust testing frameworks for development, testing, and validation.
- Build and maintain comprehensive test suites to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.
- Use Python for scripting, tooling, testing, validation, and automation.
- Work with and modify large open-source codebases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring production readiness.
- Follow strong Git practices, including branching, diffs, patches, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and help resolve technical challenges.
- Break complex requirements into well-scoped, documented, and actionable technical tasks.

Required Skills Experience

- 5+ years of professional experience in production software development.

- Solid understanding of software development, testing, debugging, and code quality practices.
