About the Role

We are looking for a curious and analytical Data & Automation Intern to support data-driven initiatives, reporting, and process automation. Youll work with data, tools, and technology to help simplify repetitive processes, improve data quality, and build more efficient workflows.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, experimenting with technology, and finding ways to make everyday processes smarter and more efficient.

What You'll Do

- Collect, clean, organize, and validate data from different sources.
- Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights.
- Work with spreadsheets, databases, and other data tools to maintain accurate and structured information.
- Identify repetitive or manual processes that can be improved through automation.
- Build and maintain simple scripts, workflows, or automations to improve operational efficiency.
- Work with APIs and different tools/platforms to move or integrate data where required.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and basic analysis.
- Help test, troubleshoot, and improve existing automations and workflows.
- Document processes, workflows, and solutions for future use.




- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and solve problems.
- Explore recent tools and technologies that can improve existing processes.

What Were Looking For

- Basic understanding of data, programming, and problem-solving concepts.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Understanding of basic data structures, databases, or data manipulation.
- Interest in automation, data analysis, technology, or process improvement.
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data and identify patterns or inconsistencies.
- Good logical and analytical thinking.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively.

Good to Have

- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or other Python libraries.
- Exposure to APIs, JSON, web scraping, or data extraction.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make, UiPath, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to data visualization or dashboarding tools.
- Basic understanding of Git/version control.
- Experience with personal, academic, freelance, or hackathon projects involving data or automation.
