Data & Analytics Manager

Location PAN INDIA

Shift – 4 am to 1 pm

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team in
Australia. In this role, the resource will be required to turn complex data
into clear, actionable insights that help the business make better decisions.

They will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation
to understand business questions, develop meaningful analysis and reporting,
and build scalable data products using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Data
Studio.

This is an ideal opportunity for an analyst who enjoys working
across both the technical and commercial sides of data and wants to play a key
role in developing a modern, self-service analytics environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Analyze large and complex
datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks and actionable insights.

Work with business
stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical
solutions.

Develop and maintain
dashboards, reports and data visualizations in Data Studio.

Write effective and
reliable SQL to query, transform
and analyses data.

Work with data stored and
processed within Google Cloud Platform,
particularly Big Query.

Develop and maintain data
models, explores and metrics to support self-service analytics.

Define and maintain data
quality checks and help ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of
reporting.

Translate analytical
findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical
audiences.

Support the development of
data definitions, KPIs and reporting standards across the organisation.

Collaborate with Data
Engineering, Product, Technology and business teams to improve data
availability and usability.

Identify opportunities to
automate manual reporting and improve the efficiency of analytical processes.

Contribute to the ongoing
development of the organisation's data and analytics capability.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

1.
The candidate must have exceptional English as they will be
dealing with global teams where English is not everyone’s first language.

2.
The ability to work Australian hours.

The resource should be a curious, commercially minded analyst who enjoys
solving problems with data. The can work independently, but must be equally
comfortable partnering with stakeholders to understand what they need and why.

Must have:

- 3+ years' experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery.
- Practical experience building dashboards and analytical solutions in Data Studio.
- Familiarity with ecommerce data sources such as SAP Hybris, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and a range of media platforms.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, metrics and analytical best practices.
- Experience translating business requirements into data driven solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to explain complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.

Nice to Have

- Experience working with dataform or similar data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with contemporary data warehouse and data lake architectures.
- Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.
- Experience working in an Agile setting.
- Experience in a high growth, technology or data driven organisation.
