About the Role

We are looking for a Curriculum & Content Developer to join our growing EdTech team and develop high-quality, structured learning modules for our online tutoring sessions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and developing session-by-session learning modules, lesson resources, worksheets, activities and assessments for students following the UK curriculum.

The role will involve working closely with our academic and tutoring teams to ensure that all content is engaging, age-appropriate, academically accurate and suitable for online delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop structured session modules for online tutoring programmes.

- Plan learning objectives, lesson structure, activities and outcomes for each session.

- Create high-quality worksheets, exercises, quizzes, assessments and homework.

- Develop content for 11+, GCSE and A-Level programmes.

- Create resources for subjects including English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning (VR), Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR) and other relevant subjects.

- Develop and review 11+ practice materials and mock assessments.

- Create GCSE and A-Level resources aligned with relevant UK examination boards, including AQA and Edexcel.

- Ensure content follows the appropriate UK curriculum and academic standards.

- Structure modules according to student age, ability and learning level.

- Review existing session content and identify areas for improvement.

- Work closely with tutors and the academic team to gather feedback and continuously improve modules.

- Ensure consistency in content quality, formatting, difficulty level and learning objectives.

- Research and verify subject information to ensure accuracy.

- Proofread and quality-check all learning materials before they are released to tutors/students.

- Maintain an organised library of curriculum and session resources.

- Meet deadlines and manage multiple content-development projects.





Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, Science or a relevant subject.

- 25 years of experience in curriculum development, educational content development, lesson planning or EdTech.

- Good understanding of the UK education system and curriculum.

- Experience with 11+, GCSE and/or A-Level content is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of UK examination boards such as AQA, Edexcel and GL Assessment will be an advantage.

- Excellent written English and robust communication skills.

- Strong research, writing and proofreading abilities.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to break complex topics into clear, structured and engaging learning modules.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with tutors and academic teams.

- Good organisational and time-management skills.

Desirable Experience

- Experience developing complete lesson/session modules rather than standalone content.

- Experience creating resources for online tutoring.

- Experience developing 11+ GL-style materials and mock tests.

- Knowledge of UK grammar and independent school entrance requirements.

- Experience working with international students.

- Familiarity with digital education platforms and tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Canva.
