Role & responsibilities

• Plan and arrange procurement of raw materials, components, consumables and packaging based on production requirements and inventory status.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials to prevent production stoppages.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, shortages and material quality issues.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Finance to align material availability with the manufacturing plan.
• Maintain material planning records, open purchase order status and shortage reports.
• Identify slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory and support corrective actions.
• Support supplier performance monitoring for delivery,



quality and responsiveness.
• Ensure material storage, identification and traceability practices support operational requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Commerce or related discipline.
• Experience in material planning, purchasing, inventory control or manufacturing supply chain preferred.
• Solid knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
