Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Site In-Charge to manage overall operations and site activities at our Khopoli, Maharashtra location.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in the Water & Wastewater Treatment industry, with sound knowledge of ETP, RO and MEE operations. The candidate will be responsible for complete site operations, manpower management, plant performance, client coordination, safety, documentation and ensuring smooth execution of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for day-to-day site operations and plant performance.
- Manage and supervise ETP, RO and MEE plant operations.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the treatment plant as per defined SOPs and operational standards.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure plant performance is maintained within specified limits.
- Lead and manage operators, technicians, supervisors, chemists and other site manpower.
- Prepare manpower deployment and shift schedules based on operational requirements.
- Monitor attendance, manpower productivity, discipline and overall team performance.
- Ensure proper operation and monitoring of pumps, motors, blowers, chemical dosing systems, filtration systems, RO and MEE equipment.
- Identify process deviations, equipment issues and operational challenges and ensure timely corrective actions.




- Coordinate with maintenance/technical teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Monitor chemical consumption and optimize chemical dosing as per process requirements.
- Ensure proper maintenance of plant logbooks, operational records, checklists and reports.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports related to plant operations and manpower.
- Coordinate with the client on daily operations, plant performance, complaints, requirements and improvement activities.
- Maintain strong and professional client relationships and communication.
- Attend client meetings and provide updates on plant performance and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures, environmental requirements and client standards.
- Ensure all site employees follow proper PPE and safe working practices.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness activities at the site.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant and site premises.
- Monitor plant consumables, chemicals and operational requirements.
- Ensure proper shift handover/takeover and effective communication between teams.
- Handle operational emergencies and take appropriate decisions to minimize plant downtime.
- Support internal and client audits, inspections and performance reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction and operational improvement.




- Ensure timely submission of all operational and management reports.
- Take ownership of overall site performance, manpower management and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in ETP, RO and MEE plant operations.
- Experience in industrial wastewater treatment plant operations will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Proven experience in manpower/team management.
- Good experience in client coordination and handling client requirements.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, troubleshooting and process monitoring.
- Valuable understanding of pumps, motors, blowers, chemical dosing, filtration, RO and MEE systems.
- Good knowledge of safety practices and environmental requirements.
- Strong documentation and MIS reporting skills.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage complete site operations.
- Strong decision-making and team-handling capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Site In-Charge / Site Manager / Plant In-Charge / Operations Manager with strong technical and operational exposure in ETP, RO and MEE plants.

Candidates who have experience in industrial wastewater treatment, manpower management, client coordination and complete site operations will be preferred.

Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.

Compensation

Salary: 35,000 to 45,000 CTC per month
