Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

Focuses on building and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring continuous delivery and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Azure services like VM, VNet, Azure AD, DNS, VMSS, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, ACS, AKS.
- Implement IaC using ARM templates and Terraform.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and other tools.
- Containerize and orchestrate workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate tasks using Linux, Bash, and Python scripting.
- Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Kibana.
- Implement Azure Policy and Blueprints for governance.
- Manage RBAC, Managed Identities, and Key Vault for secrets.
- Use Azure Cost Management and Advisor for cost control.
- Automate alerting and dashboards with Azure Monitor API.
- Implement distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry.
- Autoscaling strategies for AKS and VMSS.




- Optimize container images and CI/CD caching.
- Design multi-region failover using Azure Traffic Manager and Backup.

Must-Have Skills:

- Core Azure services (VM, VNet, Azure AD, DNS, VMSS, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, ACS, AKS).
- ARM templates and Terraform.
- GitHub Actions and CI/CD tools.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
