About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Mentor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong industry knowledge in Banking, Credit, Underwriting, and Banking Operations to mentor and train students on practical, industry-relevant concepts.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the banking/financial services industry along with a strong ability to simplify complex financial concepts, explain real-world processes, and guide learners through practical case studies.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and practical training sessions on Credit, Underwriting, and Banking Operations.
- Explain complex banking and finance concepts in a simple, structured, and easy-to-understand manner.
- Train students using practical, real-world banking scenarios.
- Develop and explain relevant case studies, practical assignments, and industry examples.
- Guide students through credit assessment and underwriting-related case studies.
- Explain banking processes, workflows, documentation, and operational practices.
- Help learners understand how theoretical concepts are applied in actual banking environments.




- Conduct interactive sessions and encourage learner participation.
- Clarify student doubts and provide practical insights from industry experience.
- Assess learner understanding through case studies, discussions, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Provide industry-oriented guidance to help students become job-ready.
- Keep training content aligned with current banking and financial-services practices.

Requirements





- Prior professional experience in Banking / Financial Services / Credit / Underwriting / Banking Operations.
- Strong hands-on and practical understanding of banking and credit processes.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, corporate training, or training experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and explanation skills.
- Ability to break down complex concepts into simple and practical explanations.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create, explain, and solve real-world case studies.
- Strong understanding of finance, credit, underwriting, and banking operations.
- Ability to engage students and make sessions interactive.
- Passion for mentoring and developing industry-ready professionals.
