Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Backend with robust expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Microsoft Azure to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in backend architecture, API development, microservices, cloud technologies, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable backend solutions using Python and FastAPI.

Architect and implement cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design decisions.

Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.

Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps teams, and stakeholders.

Mentor and guide developers through code reviews and technical coaching.

Define coding standards, development practices, and CI/CD processes.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and release activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

10+ years of software development experience.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI.

Strong experience designing and deploying Azure-based solutions.

Proven experience leading development teams and large-scale projects.

Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
