Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer Panel Design with 2 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Control Panel Design, AutoCAD, Electrical Drawings, BOQ Preparation, Cost Estimation, Component Selection, Testing, and Troubleshooting.

The candidate will be responsible for designing electrical panels, preparing SLDs, power and control circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts, selecting electrical and automation components, preparing BOQs and panel costing, and developing technical offers against customer enquiries.

The role will also involve client coordination, technical discussions, production coordination, panel testing, commissioning support, and troubleshooting.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design and prepare LT Electrical Panels, Control Panels, MCC Panels, AMF Panels, APFC Panels, DBs, and Automation Panels as per project and client requirements.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), power circuit diagrams, control circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate and detailed electrical schematics and panel drawings for manufacturing and project execution.
- Select suitable electrical and automation components based on electrical ratings, load requirements, application, specifications, and project requirements.
- Select and specify components including MCB, MCCB, contactors, overload relays, relays, timers, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, meters, protection devices, terminal blocks, and control components.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material requirements,



and panel cost estimates.
- Prepare technical and commercial offers/quotations against customer enquiries for electrical panels.
- Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements and provide suitable panel design and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with clients and project teams to understand requirements, clarify technical queries, and finalize panel specifications.
- Coordinate with the panel manufacturing/production team for panel fabrication, assembly, component mounting, wiring, and implementation.
- Review panel drawings and verify component specifications, wiring, ratings, and design details before production.
- Inspect and verify panel wiring, control circuits, power circuits, and component installation.
- Assist in FAT, panel testing, inspection, commissioning, and site support as required.
- Troubleshoot electrical, control, and automation-related issues during testing, commissioning, and site execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical specifications, component selection, and material requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, BOQs, BOMs, technical specifications, quotations, and project records.
- Ensure designs and panel documentation meet applicable safety standards, project specifications, and customer requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- 37 years of relevant experience in electrical panel design, electrical engineering, estimation, or panel manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical drafting.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Panel Design and Panel Wiring.
- Good knowledge of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), power circuits,



control circuits, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Robust understanding of electrical protection and control components such as MCB, MCCB, contactors, overload relays, relays, timers, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, meters, and protection devices.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, BOM preparation, material estimation, panel costing, and quotation preparation.
- Ability to understand customer enquiries and prepare appropriate technical offers and panel designs.
- Experience with LT Panels, Control Panels, MCC Panels, AMF Panels, APFC Panels, DB Panels, and Automation Panels will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD, industrial automation, and control systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to read, understand, and verify electrical drawings and panel wiring.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills for interaction with clients, vendors, production teams, and site teams.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in panel manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and site troubleshootingwill be preferred.
