Role Overview

We are looking for a Faculty member in Accounting & Finance to teach Accounting Principles and Financial Transactions to UG/PG students. The candidate should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting and financial governance, along with the ability to deliver financial transactions using accounting software tools. Teaching experience in an educational institute is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Teaching: Deliver lectures in Accounting Principles and Financial Transactions to UG/PG students, and offer academic support to students as and when required.
- Subject Coverage: Teach and guide students on bookkeeping practices, trial balance, financial reports and statements, budget planning and control, and financial governance.
- Software Tools: Deliver financial transactions and demonstrate accounting processes using relevant software tools.
- Lesson Planning: Prepare lesson plan documents and presentations for each session as per the standard.
- Curriculum Delivery: Deliver course material, curricula and syllabi in creative and engaging ways.
- Assessment: Prepare and issue assignment briefs within the timeline, monitor student work with timely feedback, and evaluate and publish grades on time.
- Research & Networking: Conduct research, publish papers, attend conferences, and network with other researchers and field experts.
- Student Support: Supervise, advise and mentor students,



and ensure student satisfaction and engagement across UG/PG/Diploma/Short courses, online and offline.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all academic processes and procedures are adhered to as per institutional and Pearson BTEC standards.
- Departmental Duties: Participate in day-to-day departmental meetings and carry out any other tasks assigned by the Academic Head.

Required Qualifications

- Education: MBA in Finance (or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Accounting/Finance).
- Subject Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Transactions, bookkeeping, trial balance, financial reporting and financial governance.
- Technical Skills: Ability to deliver and demonstrate financial transactions using accounting/finance software tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

- Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience in educational institutes is preferred; experience at undergraduate/Higher National level and with Pearson BTEC teaching will be an advantage.
- Industry Exposure: Practical exposure to accounting, bookkeeping or financial reporting functions in an organisational setting.
- Assessment Experience: Experience developing lesson plans, assignment briefs and student assessments.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
