We are looking for a responsible and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee hospital housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, hygienic, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, visitors, doctors, nurses, and staff.

The ideal candidate should have good supervisory skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of hospital cleaning procedures, infection control, and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff across hospital departments.
- Allocate duties and shifts to housekeeping staff and ensure proper manpower deployment.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, wards, ICU, OT areas, corridors, OPD, offices, washrooms, and other hospital areas.
- Ensure cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor the proper use, dilution, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure adequate availability of housekeeping materials, consumables, PPE, and cleaning supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas and take corrective action wherever required.
- Ensure proper cleaning of high-touch surfaces and high-risk areas.
- Coordinate with nursing, infection control, maintenance, security, and other departments when required.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, personal hygiene, infection prevention, waste handling, and workplace safety.
- Ensure staff follow hospital policies, SOPs, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.




- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance of housekeeping staff.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, inspection records, attendance, duty rosters, and other required documentation.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor proper segregation and disposal of hospital waste in coordination with the concerned department.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, spills, shortages, or safety hazards to the concerned department.
- Ensure housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
- Conduct periodic rounds and submit housekeeping status reports to management.
- Perform any other housekeeping-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of hospital housekeeping and infection-control practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and manage a team.
- Positive organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and reports.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, PPE, and safe handling procedures.

Pay: From ₹13,000.00 per month
