K.J. Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre, a 550-bedded medical college and hospital in Sion, Mumbai, is hiring an EEG Technician for its Neurology Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine, sleep and video EEG recordings as per doctor's advice

- Prepare patients for the test, explain the procedure and ensure their comfort

- Apply electrodes accurately and ensure good quality recordings

- Perform bedside EEGs in wards and ICU when required

- Assist with NCV / EMG studies when required

- Maintain EEG equipment, check calibration and report any faults

- Maintain patient records and hand over recordings to the neurologist for reporting

- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols

Requirements:

- Diploma / B.Sc in Neuro Technology, Neuro Electrophysiology or EEG Technology





- Knowledge of EEG equipment and electrode placement (10-20 system)

- Good patient handling and communication skills

- Basic computer skills

- Willingness to work rotational shifts is mandatory
