Job Description – South Indian Cook

Position: SouthIndian Cook & Kitchen Helper
Location: Wayanad

Food & Accomodation will be provided.

Looking for an experienced South Indian Chef for resort operations.
Candidate should be willing to stay at staff accommodation and work versatile shifts.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated SouthIndian Cook to prepare authentic South Indian dishes and support daily kitchen operations at the resort. The candidate should maintain hygiene, food quality, and timely service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare SouthIndian breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.
- Cook dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, pongal, upma, sambar, chutneys, poriyal, kurma, biryani, meals, etc.
- Ensure taste consistency and food quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Handle kitchen stock, raw materials, and minimize wastage.
- Follow food safety and resort kitchen standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen helpers and management for smooth operations.




- Ensure timely preparation and service during guest dining hours.

Requirements

- Minimum 1–7 years of experience as a SouthIndian Cook.
- Good knowledge of traditional SouthIndian cuisine.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Team player with disciplined work attitude.
- Experience in hotel/resort cooking is preferred.

Qualification

- Any relevant culinary experience or hotel management background preferred.
- Basic reading and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: Based on experience and interview performance.
- Food and accommodation will be provided by the management.
- Weekly off and other benefits as per Company policy.

- Operations Manager
