HOMECARE NURSE

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Homecare Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients at their homes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient comfort, safety, and hygiene while following the care plan prescribed by the doctor and hospital team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care to patients at their residence as per the prescribed care plan.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition, and changes in health status.
- Administer medications, injections, IV medications/fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Provide wound care, dressing, catheter care, feeding tube care, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Assist bedridden, elderly, post-operative, and chronically ill patients with daily activities.
- Maintain proper nursing documentation and patient care records.
- Communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to the doctor/supervisor.
- Educate patients and family members regarding medication, hygiene, nutrition, and basic patient care.
- Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards.




- Coordinate with the hospital/homecare team for follow-up care and medical requirements.
- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and respectful communication with patients and families.

Requirements

- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
- Valid Nursing Registration is mandatory.
- Previous experience in homecare, hospital, ICU, ward, or elderly care will be preferred.
- Candidates with 1+ year of nursing experience are preferred.
- Good clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a patient's home environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and responsible approach to patient care.
- Candidates from Kannur District or nearby locations will be preferred.
