· Support and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the QMS in alignment with ISO 15189 requirements.
· Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation, SOPs, training records, and other quality-related documents required for NABL readiness.
· Prepare documentation, SOPs, and training logs for NABL readiness
· Lead IQC (Internal Quality Control)/EQA (External Quality Assessments) programs and manage non-conformities through CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
· Conduct internal audits and oversee method validation for current tests
· Supervise end-to-end lab workflows (pre-analytical to post-analytical)
· Manage staff allocation, rosters, and coverage
· Coordinate equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and service contracts
· Oversee procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships
· Enforce biosafety, fire safety, and biomedical waste protocols
· Liaise with third-party labs for outsourced tests and ensure quality compliance.
· Mentor technical staff.
· Conduct onboarding and refresher training.
· Foster a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Technical Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of clinical biochemistry laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Expertise in biochemical analysis, sample processing, quality control, and laboratory instrumentation.
- Laboratory quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC)
- Equipment operation, calibration, and preventive maintenance
- Laboratory inventory and consumable management
- Infection prevention and biosafety practices
- Documentation and record management
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) / Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- Data analysis and laboratory reporting
- Regulatory and accreditation compliance (NABL, ISO, CAP, or applicable standards)
