Position: Mines Manager

Location: Barmer, Rajasthan

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Mines Manager to lead and manage mining operations at our Barmer, Rajasthan location. The candidate will be responsible for safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant mine operations, production planning, manpower management, and coordination with statutory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and control day-to-day mining operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure mining activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved mine plans and statutory requirements.
- Manage mine development, excavation, drilling, blasting, loading, transportation, and material handling activities.
- Prepare and monitor production, mine development, and operational plans.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS, IBM, DMG Rajasthan, Mines Act, MMR, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Maintain statutory records, reports, registers, and documentation related to mining operations.
- Monitor deployment and performance of manpower, machinery, contractors, and mining equipment.
- Coordinate with geology, survey, safety, environment, maintenance, and other departments.
- Monitor mine safety, productivity, equipment utilization, and operational costs.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions for improved efficiency.
- Liaise with government departments and statutory authorities as required.




- Ensure proper implementation of safety standards, environmental requirements, and approved mining practices.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Valid First Class / Second Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency, as applicable.
- Valid statutory certifications/licenses required for the applicable mine.

Experience

- 10–15+ years of relevant experience in mining operations.
- Experience in managing open-cast mines will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Rajasthan mining operations and statutory compliance will be an advantage.

Pay: From ₹120,000.00 per month
