Qualification: DM or DrNB in Medical Oncology

Experience: 0 to 2 years

Roles & Responsibilities

- Chemotherapy & Regimen Planning: Design, prescribe, and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy protocols.
- Patient Management: Evaluate OPD and IPD cancer patients, conduct detailed clinical assessments, and manage treatment side effects and oncological emergencies.
- Multidisciplinary Tumour Board: Actively present and discuss complex cancer cases in multidisciplinary tumour boards alongside surgical and radiation oncologists.
- Procedure Execution: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bone marrow aspirates/biopsies, lumbar punctures, and intrathecal chemotherapy administration.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive clinical notes,



electronic health records, treatment summaries, and discharge notes.
- Protocol & Safety Adherence: Enforce strict cytotoxic drug handling safety protocols, infection control measures, and evidence-based clinical guidelines (NCCN/ESMO).
- Patient Counseling: Provide empathetic counseling to patients and families regarding cancer diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and palliative care goals.
- Junior Resident Supervision: Supervised and train senior residents, nurses, and medical staff in day-to-day ward and daycare operations.
