The overall purpose of this job is to ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of production equipment within PALFINGER AG. This includes scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and upgrades to support the smooth operation of production processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the company's operations.

Your Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including both easy and complex issues, to ensure continuous production flow and adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and improve preventative maintenance programs to prolong equipment lifespan and enhance production efficiency.
- Coordinate with external vendors to negotiate services and procure necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repairs..
- Train and mentor new maintenance technicians to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce for ongoing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, upgrades, and calibration procedures, for reference and historical records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment,



ensuring the proper storage of tools, equipment, and spare parts for efficient maintenance operations.

Your Qualifications

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts and coordinate with external vendors for maintenance requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
- Support equipment improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians and collaborate with production and other departments.
