We are looking for an Accountant with experience in the transport and logistics industry to manage the day-to-day accounting activities of our logistics office.

The company operates through both its own fleet and transportation brokerage, so practical knowledge of transport operations and related accounting is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain day-to-day accounts using our customized accounting software and Excel.
- Handle trip-wise accounting and vehicle-related expenses.
- Maintain fuel expenses and other operational expenses.
- Manage driver advances and settlements.
- Prepare customer bills and invoices.
- Maintain accounts for outside transporters and brokerage transactions.
- Maintain customer, transporter, and vendor ledgers.
- Prepare accounting data and records required by the CA for GST and TDS compliance.
- Coordinate with the owner and manager regarding accounting and operational transactions.




- Take over the accounting responsibilities currently handled by the existing accountant.

Requirements:

- 2–3 years of accounting experience.
- B.Com preferred.
- Candidates without a relevant degree must have prior experience in transport/logistics accounting.
- Practical understanding of transport and logistics operations.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of TDS is an advantage.
- Hindi and English communication skills are required.
- Conversational English sufficient for understanding and writing emails to clients.
